2026-2027 Graduate Housing Master Timeline
This master schedule outlines critical deadlines for current residents renewing or transferring, as well as new applicants looking to secure housing for the upcoming academic year.

| February 2 | Current Resident Renewal Begins: Housing Intent process opens for current Graduate Housing residents to declare their plans for the next academic year. |
| February 2 | Community Fellow Applications Open: Applications open for students interested in joining the Residence Life team as a Community Fellow. |
| February 13 | Community Fellow Application Deadline: Applications for the Community Fellow position close. |
| March 6 | Current Resident Renewal Deadline: Housing Intent response deadline for current Graduate Housing residents. |
| March 24-26 | Current Resident Transfer Room Draw: Internal room draw window opens for current residents approved to transfer to a different unit. |
| April 1 | Applications & Roommate Matching Open: The 2026–2027 online housing application portal officially opens (priority application window runs through April 19). The roommate matching application portal also opens. |
| April 19 (11:59 PM ET) | Priority & Roommate Matching Deadline: Priority application window closes. Students requesting a two-bedroom apartment with a matched roommate must finalize their roommate match by this deadline. |
| April 20 | Room Selection Times Released: Applicants who submitted a priority application receive their designated room selection times via email. |
| April 21 | Matched Roommate Selection Begins: Approved roommate pairs may begin selecting two-bedroom apartments. |
| April 22 | General Room Selection Begins: Room selection opens for priority single applicants, including single-occupancy units, two-bedroom units, Harkness Hall, one-bedroom apartments, and efficiency apartments. Selection continues until all spaces are filled. |
| April 27 | Priority License Agreement Deadline: Students who selected housing during the priority window must sign their License Agreement. Failure to sign by this deadline results in forfeiture of the assignment. |
| April 28 | Late Applicant Room Selection Begins: General room selection opens for applications received after the April 19 priority deadline. |
| May 24 | Furnished Housing License Ends: The 2025–2026 License Agreement term officially ends for furnished housing units. |
| June 5-8 | Furnished Housing Summer Transfers: Approved students transfer into new furnished housing units for full summer housing. |
| June 30 | Unfurnished Housing License Ends: The 2025–2026 License Agreement term officially ends for unfurnished housing units. |
| July 1 | Unfurnished License Renewals Begin: The new 2026–2027 License Agreement term begins for returning unfurnished housing residents. |
| July 15-20 | Unfurnished Housing Summer Transfers: Approved students transfer into new unfurnished housing units. |
| August 1 | New License Term Begins: Official start date for the 2026–2027 Graduate Housing License Agreement term. |
