How to Get Here:
Yale, located in New Haven, Connecticut, is easily accessible by car, train, or plane. New Haven is right off Interstates 91 and 95, has the New Haven Train Station, and is not far from Tweed–New Haven Airport and Bradley International Airport. For additional travel options, click here.
Yale Campus – Located in the Heart of Downtown New Haven:
Yale University is not a contained campus. Yale buildings are interspersed throughout the City of New Haven. You will need to know the address of where you are going – be it the Yale Housing office or any of the Residence Halls (Dormitories) or Apartment complexes. Just prior to your arrival, you will also need to make contact with the person you are meeting for check-in.
Checking In and Early Arrivals:
Students can check in to their dormitory or apartment only as of the first day of their Housing License Agreement. Early arrivals into the dorms or apartments need to be approved before arrival. Early arrival requests cannot always be granted. If you do arrive to New Haven before you can check in to your dormitory or apartment, please contact a local hotel or bed & breakfast for overnight accommodations.
