Maintenance and Utilities

Repairs and Maintenance in Yale Graduate Housing:

For emergency repairs call Facilities Customer Service at 203–432–6888.  Yale Facilities will initially respond with 24 hours.

Emergency Repairs that require immediate attention (examples):

  • loss of heat, electricity, or water in your unit;
  • water leaking into or from the ceiling, walls, toilets, bathroom or kitchen pipes, tubs, showers, etc.;
  • broken elevators in the dormitory buildings;
  • bug or rodent sightings;
  • broken doors/windows that effect the safety or security of your person or housing unit;
  • smell of gas. Leave your apartment and call 911.

For routine maintenance and repairs use the Facilities on-line work request. Log in with your Yale Net ID and Select ‘Facilities Work Request’ to complete your work request. Routine maintenance requests consist of non-life threatening situations such as leaky faucet, applicance repair, etc.

Repairs and Maintenance in Master-Leased UP Properties:

For emergencies such as power outage, leak issue or heating problem, call directly to Elm Campus Partners, 203-776-4466.  If you smell gas in your apartment, vacate the premises and call 911 and Elm Campus Partners immediately.

For routine maintenance service requests can be entered on-line at https://elmcampus.com.  When placing a maintenance request, please include the following information:

  • Name
  • Property address and apartment number
  • Phone number where you can be reached
  • Full description of the request
