Students can use any vendor of their choice, but if interested, Haylor, Freyer, & Coon, Inc., has a specific personal property and liability policy designed for Yale graduate and professional students.

Yale Fire Marshal’s Office encourages all students living in the Graduate Dormitories and Graduate Apartments to be safe in their campus buildings. Always look for two ways out of your room and apartment. Remember – at the sound of an alarm, grab your keys and ID card, clothing, and shoes appropriate for the outside weather, and you and your family should quickly and calmly exit the building. Yale Police and Security staff will help confirm when the building is safe to reenter.
