Yale Campus – Located in the Heart of Downtown New Haven:
Yale University is not a contained campus. Yale buildings are interspersed throughout the City of New Haven. You will need to know the address of where you are going – be it the Yale Housing office or any of the Residence Halls (Dormitories) or Apartment complexes. Just prior to your arrival, you will also need to make contact with the person you are meeting for check-in. If all else fails, when you arrive to campus, please look for and contact Yale Security so they can help you get to where you are going.
Checking In and Early Arrivals:
Students can check in to their dormitory or apartment only as of the first day of their Housing Contract. Early arrivals into the dorms or apartments need to be approved before arrival. Early arrival requests cannot always be granted. If you do arrive to New Haven before you can check in to your dormitory or apartment, please contact a local hotel or bed & breakfast for overnight accommodations.
Health History forms and immunization requirements must be completed prior to new student move in. For more information and form please click here.
